Sweet Spring Moments

Do you ever stop and think about someone’s story? It seems that often times we see and read about people being successful, but rarely think about what it took to reach that point. Life is hard. Sometimes we fall, but we have to get back up again and move forward. This mama, Heather, should be an inspiration to us all. She is four years clean (today is her 4 year anniversary!) and fights each day to provide and nurture her three beautiful children.

Heather booked a family session with me last spring because she felt it was important to document her children and the love she provides them with. It was such a beautiful session and she was over the moon excited to have a chance to love on her babies while I snapped away. Well, again, this spring she reached out and we set up a session. Oh my, it was beautiful. Her little ones, Poppy, Maddox, and Everly, have grown up so much and have an undeniable love for their mama.

I love following their story. It’s raw and honest. She shares that is wasn’t always easy and it took a great deal of determination to reach the current life she has today. She's always willing to lend a helping hand or provide a listening ear to those who are fighting to overcome addiction. Heather, you rock!

On a lighter note, the sun came out for our session! It has been so dreary around our area over the last few months and this was surely a way to brighten things up! I think it just shows how bright the future is for Heather, Maddox, Everly, and Poppy.
