An American Foursquare Full of Love
On a stormy Sunday, I traveled to Roanoke to visit a beautiful family living in a lovely American Foursquare full of love. Henry was welcomed into this great big world by wonderful, loving parents.
As I walked into Amanda and Brad’s home, I was immediately drawn to the character within their walls. The big wood-framed windows and tasteful decor really made for the most beautiful lifestyle session.
As always, I used the window light we were given on the dreary afternoon, but I also kept reminding myself to back up and take in the beautiful environment of their home. Brad, Amanda, and Henry were so patient with me as I worked all sorts of odd angles in to order to fulfill a diverse gallery to represent this intimate season of life.
We began downstairs and worked our way upstair where we visited the master for some sweet images of mom and dad cuddled up with Henry. We even had the opportunity to snag some images of Henry with his sweet fur siblings.
To wrap up this dreamy session, we ended in Henry’s nursery. The details were so thoughtful. Henry’s parents are over-the-moon in love with this little guy and it shows. Henry was a dream during our session.
I am always so thankful for the families who allow me in their homes during this very special season of life. In-home lifestyle sessions hold such a special place in my heart because of the story they allow me to express with documentary images.
