A Sweet, Spunky One Year Old

Beautiful families are what I am privileged to enjoy during connection sessions. They show up with the best smiles and full of fun energy to carry us through a pleasant session together. It really doesn’t get any better than that. A spunky little one year old makes for even more fun!

We celebrated Miss Clementine turning one during this fun connection session. She was so much fun to work with! She was full of smiles and giggles. I even got a few hugs out of the deal! There’s nothing like making a new friend!

It is the middle of winter here in Virginia, but Clementine played and snuggled with her parents to stayed warm. This allowed us to capture lots of fun, laughing moments, but also some quiet, snuggly moments. I think it was a sweet way to document this special milestone.

There are many favorites from this session because this family is just so darn sweet! I love all of the “little” moments that were captured - walking and hanging on to dad’s finger because we’re still just a little unsteady, laughing with mama because she can spin around and make a moment so much fun, and dad tossing Clementine into the air as if she’s flying. This is real life with a toddler and it’s beautiful. It’s so easy to get caught up in the busy, fast paced life that we all live, but it’s so nice to just slow down for a bit and enjoy these fleeting moments.
