Our Family is Growing
The days are long, but the years are short. I feel like I’ve heard and said this more times than I can count since we welcomed our sweet Ben into this big world. Since we found out we are expecting another snuggly boy to welcome into our family, it’s as if life has been a complete whirlwind. It’s been hard to take a few moments to slow down and just enjoy this sweet boy growing in my belly because we’re constantly on the go for work, chasing Ben around, and just life in general. While this pregnancy has had it’s long days, overall, it’s been quick and we can hardly believe he will be here in less than three months!
Ben is super excited to be a big brother and is constantly saying “is he ready to come out yet?”. I know they’ll share a special bond which may involve some fighting every once in a while.
I’ll have to say the sweetest part of this pregnancy has been watching Ben love on his daddy in the evenings. He’s always been a mama’s boy (and still is), however, daddy is way more fun than mama these days. His eyes light up when daddy gets home from work and he’s stuck to him until he finally falls asleep after reading 10 stories he picks out before bed.
With all of that being said and sharing our excitement with you all, I’d like to say thank you to all of my clients who have been and will be patient with me as we navigate through this exciting time in our family. I’ll be taking some time off after our little one arrives and then I’ll be back ready to document special memories of you and your loved ones!
Side note - this little session Ben and I did in our house was SO MUCH FUN! If you’re looking for a casual, laid back maternity session, this IS IT! I’ve love to do more of these lifestyle sessions because everyone is most comfortable in their home. Every kid loves a little jumping on the bed and snuggling with mom and dad!
We plan to capture a few more images of this pregnancy with daddy in them..he just happened to be at work this day when we felt like playing around with my camera and tripod!
xox,
