Welcoming Emery

Welcome to this great big world, Emery! You’re such a beautiful little one and you have the sweetest parents I’ve come to know. I think you’ve got them wrapped around your tiny, little fingers, but I know they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Emery is so well-loved by her family, including her fur-sibling, Koda. It was so refreshing to head out to Tessa and Tim’s beautiful property and capture their perfect little family of three…well, four if we include Koda! We smiled and laughed and just enjoyed capturing precious moments with Emery. It seems that time passes so quickly once you have a bundle of joy, so it was important for us to capture memorable images of sweet Emery.

We captured so many sweet moments that it was hard to pick a few favorites to share their story here on my blog. Most lifestyle newborn sessions are indoor, but since it was so nice outside and they had the perfect space, we were able to be outside! I love how these turned out and I think Miss Emery was super comfortable being outside with mama and daddy!

I love it when a family trusts me enough to head out to their personal space to document their family story. I think that everyone is a little more at ease and it allows a more authentic story to be told. When these images are all pulled together in an album, Emery can look back on these and know what her home place looked like when she was born. What a sweet memory to hang on to!
